An Inverview with Deb, by Deb
>>Hello Deb
Hello
>> What are you doing?
Well I knit my first pair of mittens, and I've been going to different Christmas parties.
>>Do you like Christmas?
Well, I like Christmas but the pressure to buy gifts is a bit overwhelming.
>>Why don't you just buy gift cards then?
I like to wrap gifts...I love it when they look at a pretty package and have that great look of antisipation on their faces. So gift cards sorta spoils that for me.
>>But, everybody's doing it!
Yeah, I know. But if you know me you know that I avoid those pathes that everybody else goes down.
>>Oh, really, you think your life is "down a different path"?
I do, I had a different childhood than most of my friends. As an adult I worked in a mans field,..that's down a different path. After I reitred I went back to work. I think when most people retire they quit working and stay at home and bake cookies, or what ever ladies do at home all day.
>>Oh, a little snippy are we?
Yeah, a little I guess, sorry.
>>That's ok. Any thing else you'd like to tell us?
Well I could tell you how lucky I am.
>>Ok Deb, tell us how lucky you are.
I am lucky! I am the luckiest person in the world. I have a wonderful family whom I love to spend time with. I have a terrific husband with a great sense of humor. I have a job where everyday some one tells me how much they appreciate me. Life just couldn't get any better than that (unless I had a house keeper).
