Me & my Aunt Alyce
This isn't such a hot pic of either me or my aunt, oh well we are what we are.
Not to long ago I went to Williston where my Aunt Alyce lives. So, I stopped in for a quick visit. We hashed out of the worldly problems and updated each other on the recent family news. And -well that was it. It was a short and sweet visit. My Aunt was the aunt I had growing up that I saw the most of. I remember getting a very cool transistor radio with a 9 volt battery and a nifty leather carrying case (it had holes punched in it where the small/big speaker blared Beatles music out of). Jail House Rock, Blue Swed Shoes, just to name a few. But if anybody remembers radio stations then..we had not gotten to far out of Williston and the Beatles music turned to static. And me with my new radio were left in static till we got closer to home and could hear the Canadian radio stations with the wee wee and the poo poo of the french speaking people.
I am so glad radio has changed --the FM and the XM and all that stuff. I don't have a clue what happened to my little radio but just visiting with Aunt Alyce brought back tons of childhood memories that just made me smile with joy.

Deb, Nice to see a photo of Alyce. I fondly remember the many musical disagreements we had as teens. You liked the Monkeys and Jan & Dean while I hated them. I liked the Beatles and the Mamma's & the Pappas while you hated them. Apparently, you were an Elvis fan as well and didn't even know it. That would fit because I hated Elvis. Becky
