3rd Generation "Wonder Horse"

Yup, here's a picture of my twin brother and I at 1 year old. Do you see the cute, new Birthday gift. Yup, it's the same "wonder horse" that my granddaughter Medora is riding with her cowboy hat in a previous entry.

I have vivid memories of riding this horse so hard and fast that I could get it to move across the floor. My brother really is the owner of the old boy today. He is a 50 something bachelor that has no children or grandchildren. A few years ago he was kind enough to let me borrow the "wonder horse" to give my grandchildren a few rides around the house and down the same memory lane that he and I shared years earlier.

I know that my sister has the same memories of trotting this "wonder horse" that my brother and I have, and now with many thanks to my Aunt Jean we know just who got the horse in the first place.

I have seen a horse like this, in the past few years trotting in an antique shop in Michigan, but he got away. Darn, we could use another one. Then we could have hitched up a team and taken a whole wagon load of kids trotting across the house. That would have been great!
