Eat Drink & be Merry

Ron’s brother Tom & his family were just here. That is Tom & his wife Betty, their daughter LeAnn & her husband along with their 3 girls, their son Donovan & his wife Carrie & their daughter & 5 sons AND 3 of Tom Jr’s kids. I think I got them all -well any way there were 20 who came to town. They stayed in 2 hunter houses. It might have worked to stay in a bigger one but can you imagine 20 people in 1 house with 1 bathroom? OFTA -ofta is a Norwegian term & this definitely was a German gathering. Lots of German sausage, oil & vinegar (German) potato salad, AND lots of laughing. Well I should say giggling! Ron would say something & they would all giggle. Bonnie (Ron’s sister from Jamestown) would say something & giggle & they would all join in. Tom would say –let’s pickup the fireworks trash & the giggling would start again. I wasn’t so sure what the giggling was about but it’s catchy -and fun I might add.
