Bless'n more twins!
Here is a picture of our 2nd set of twins with their Mom. Nit(Knit) and Pearl(Purl) are as cute of buttons. I was going to ask for help in naming the new twins but....well Sunday (they were born on Friday) the new Pastor at out church said he would bless machinery, land, cattle or whatever- for anybody who wanted it. Well I talked to the church secretary Wednesday and she said he hadn’t had any takers. So...feeling a bit sorry for the guy who wanted to try something new I asked him to come and bless our new twins along with the newest calf who was born that morning. So along with the blessing Nit and Pearl got their new names.
Dundee, my Appaloosa horse also received a blessing. She has had a really ruff winter and is pretty thin. Her 26 years have finally caught up with her. And bless you Nit, Pearl, Dundee and Pastor Brandon.

Grandma's attic
Many, many times over the years I have dreamed of being in my Grandma’s attic. Oh, the treasures she had in there. I remember her showing me a toy truck my uncle Vernon had played with as a child. I remember the pic-up-sticks, a game we then could then play with and Grandpa would let us win. I remember the old shoe boxes filled with beautiful glass Christmas ornaments -one was a bright purple tear shaped with an indent that has white frost in it -like wonderful gems. I remember the 3 or 4 boxes with windows in them where you could see exotic looking dolls with silk and lace dresses, one like a mexican lady with black hair, another wearing pink, maybe a norwegian with light hair. And the cardboard games with delicate paper pieces. Oh –the wonderful treasures from Grandma’s attic. Where did all those great items go to after she cared so preciously for them?
